Eastern Uganda and Western Kenya shares almost People with similar characters, language and social life. In Eastern Uganda mainly is being known for the presence of mountain Elgon one of the block mountains in Uganda and the Gisu and Sabin people mainly known for there circumcision culture where the Bagisu circumcise men of tender age while as the Sabin are known for circumcise women. Around Sabin region we find the Sipi falls and ancient caves which good for hiking on the slopes of mountain Elgon and also visiting ancient caves and interaction with communities to learn more about there culture.

In the far north Eastern Uganda we find the Nilotic as history says, in Uganda they are called the Karamonj and originated from southern Sudan into Uganda. These people are nomadic pastoralists we move for long distances in such for green pastures and water for there cattle. The karamonj believe in life with cows and its there committed work always and ever looking after castles that why they are also cattle wrestler.

Karamonj people mainly live in the ancient world where by majority don’t believe civilisation. The only thing they value in life is water being that there are is a semi desert place where they take long to receive rainfall hence leading to moving long distances in such for water.

Further more within karamonj they have different types of karamonj with different activities forexample

1. IKYE:These are karamonj people living in mountain on Morongule bordering Uganda and Kenya and they are mainly farmers.
2. JYE:These are cattle keepers and also most of the time raid communities to still there cattle’s
3. DODOTH:These practices agriculture as well as rearing some cattle.

The weather conditions of Karamojong are always hot however much when they experience rainfall it tends to cold for a small period.

In the far north east you meet the kidepo valley national park which known for its magnificent view of all  mountain bordering the park making it the park with the most good looking nature.

Kidepo Valley national park hosts a variety of bird species as well as animal species of which among the big five kidepo hosts the big four which includes LIONS,LEOPARD,ELEPHANTS  and THE BIGEST HERD OF BUFFALO IN AFRICA. Nevertheless kidepo hosts some animals like the Cheeters,Rock hyrax the relative to elephants, Warthogs, Hyenas and different species of antelopes.

In the South Wes of kidepo lie Murchison falls nation park which is the biggest and oldest game park in the land of the PEARL OF AFRICA .

Its approximately five hours drive from Kidepo to Murchison falls including stop overs for break and bathroom .
