Murchison falls national game Park is the biggest game park in Uganda gazetted as a national park in 1952.

Uganda the  PEARL OF AFRICA was declared that tittle by WINSTON Churchill in 1908 after his visit to Uganda.

Murchison falls host the 451bird species 71 animal species and the mighty world’s strongest waterfall, of which among the big five the park hosts the big four:LION,LEOPARD, ELEPHANT and BUFFALO after one the Rhino got extinct during the war insurgency in Uganda in 1970s.

This game park used to be called KABALEGA GAME PARK and it was name after the KING OF BUNYORO KINGDOM of which the park lies. The park lies in the western arm of the Eastern Rift valley which is approximately 5hrs drive from ENTEBBE Airport in the North West of Uganda.

In this game park possibility of seeing the cats are very high during the game drive with an experienced guide. During the game drive expect to species of mammals, and birds of which if interested don’t hesitate to ask the guide/driver to stop for a photo.

Activities like boat cruising, game drives,hiking,nature walk in the game park as well as night game drives are being carried out in the park.

ITERNARY TO MURCHISO FALLS NATIONAL PARK

Day 1

• Pickup from your area of residence in Uganda at around 7:00am in the morning.
• Briefing from our experienced English speaking guide/driver for about 30minutes about the safari.
• Loading baggage if any then boarding our 4×4 van ready to hit the road.
• Stopping for bathroom is mandatory and also having lunch encounter before reaching the park.
• Checking in at the game park gates then heading to the top of the falls since its the heart of the game park.
• From the top of the falls heading for evening safari for two hours,Evening time is always good for cat spotting then drive to hotel.
• Having dinner and accommodation at designated hotel.

Day 2

• Early morning breakfast at hotel depending on your guide then go for morning game drive for 3 to 4 hours for other wildlife like Buffalo,antelopes,hyenas,giraffes and other mammals.
• From the game drive going for lunch either to hotel of accommodation or another place depending on distance location .
• From lunch heading for a boat ride to the bottom of the ffalls.during this experience crocs, hippos and elephants are identified alongside river nine taking a bath in the water and this activity takes up 2 to 3 hrs.
• Heading back to hotel for relaxing and dinner and accommodation.

Day 3

• Early morning breakfast then transfer to Ziwa Rhino sanctuary for Rhino trekking
• After Rhino trekking heading for lunch before heading back to Kampala or area of residence
